Proper scooter balance is absolutely essential. It’s not just about having the lightest setup possible, but about where the center of gravity is. This is exactly why the Ethic Erawan has long been one of the most popular freestyle scooters on the market — its balance is dialed in perfectly.

Don’t ride an Ethic Erawan? No problem. With the BPM balancing system, you can fine-tune the balance of almost any scooter built with Ethic components.

BPMs (balance point modulation) are ballasts that can be installed on your scoo- ter’s 3 zones of influence (deck / fork / handlebars), to modify its balance. Two types of weight are available for each zone, allowing you to adjust the be- havior of your scooter to suit your riding style and tastes.

The addition of BPM makes it possible to have a scooter with greater stability and control, while keeping it light. By varying the weight distribution between front and rear, it’s also possible to modulate the type of deck rotation. A pack is available with all types of ballast included in one package, so you can find your perfect set-up between 27 different possible combination. (3x3x3) Ballasts are also available individually.

Compatibnility:
DECK BPM: All Ethic deck (the Pandora V1 can only be compatible with the 75g version)
FORK BPM : All BPM compatible forks (Legion 12 STD V2 / Heracles / All future 12 STD forks)
BAR BPM : All BPM compatible bars (Tenacity V2 / futures high ends bars)
