Park
Park riding is often associated with various contests and competitions and is perceived as a true performance sport. The most commonly used obstacles are fly-boxes (big jumps), u-ramps, radiuses, but also grindeboxes and railings. Park freestyle scooters are mainly designed for performing tricks such as scooterflips, combining multiple tricks (e.g. 360-barspin-tailwhip), spins combined with backflips (flips), etc. However, park scooters can also be used to perform pure street tricks, for example on railings, but the smaller size of the decks and handlebars makes it not very comfortable. Park riding is faster and more demanding on coordination than street riding. For this reason, park scooters are lighter, and the handlebars are smaller (narrower and shorter). Park scooters also come with shorter and narrower decks.
