Y Handlebars

The letter Y refers to the shape of the handlebars.

By classifying handlebars as Y or T, we intentionally avoid the inaccurate division into so-called street and park handlebars, where T-bars are automatically considered street handlebars and Y-bars are considered park handlebars. That’s not really the case.

It’s more about the size of the handlebars rather than their shape that determines their main use—whether for street or park riding.

When it comes to strength, Y-bars will always be stronger than T-bars, regardless of the material used.
